Vlad Chiriches is a Romanian defender who made his name with Steaua Bucuresti before joining Tottenham Hotspur in 2013. He later played in Italy for Napoli, Sassuolo and Cremonese, building a long career as a technically capable centre-back. Chiriches has also been an important Romania international, serving as captain and representing his country through World Cup and European Championship qualifying campaigns.
