Daiya Maekawa is a Japanese goalkeeper who joined Vissel Kobe from Kansai University. The son of former Japan goalkeeper Kazuya Maekawa, he established himself at Kobe with strong reflexes and calm distribution. Maekawa was part of Kobe squads that won major domestic honours and has also been called into the Japan national-team environment.
