Seiya Baba is a Japanese defender who came through Tokyo Verdy before moving to Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo and later Kashiwa Reysol. He has represented Japan at youth levels and is usually used as a centre-back or right-sided defender. Baba's strengths are mobility, defensive coverage and enough technical quality to help his team progress the ball.
