Kashifu Bangnagande was born on 24 September 2001 in Tokyo, to a father from Cameroon and a Japanese mother. He came through FC Tokyo's youth ranks and is one of FC Tokyo's most committed academy products of his generation. He made his J1 League debut as a teenager and became a regular starter at left-back from 2022 onwards.
Bangnagande's 2024 season was his best so far: 17 J1 League matches with 2 goals and 2 assists. He won the J.League Cup with FC Tokyo in 2020–21 — earned as a youth squad member — and has been a steady left-back option ever since. The 2025 season has seen reduced minutes at 8 J1 appearances by mid-year.
A modern attacking left-back with strong dribbling, athletic recovery ability and a tendency to overlap through the channels, Bangnagande made his Japan A-team debut in 2023. He continues to be considered for Japan camps as a left-back option behind the more senior choices, and his physical profile and FC Tokyo familiarity make him one of the most dependable J1 left-backs in his age bracket.
