Luciano Valente is a Dutch attacking midfielder born in Groningen in 2003. After starting at GVAV-Rapiditas, he joined Groningen's academy in 2014 and later signed his first professional contract with the club. He made his senior debut against Ajax in 2022, stayed with Groningen after relegation and helped the club return to the Eredivisie. Feyenoord signed him in 2025, and he made his debut in Champions League qualifying before taking the number 10 shirt in 2026. Eligible for both Italy and the Netherlands, Valente represented Italy at youth level, then switched to the Netherlands under-21s and made his senior Netherlands debut in 2025.
