Morato is a Brazilian centre-back born in Francisco Morato in 2001. He developed at São Paulo and moved to Benfica in 2019, first playing for the B team before becoming part of the senior squad. With Benfica he gained Primeira Liga and Champions League experience and was part of squads competing for domestic honours. A left-footed central defender, he has been recognised for his physical profile and distribution from the back.
