Rui Silva is a Portuguese goalkeeper born in Águas Santas in 1994. After youth football with Maia and Nacional, he became a first-team player at Nacional before moving to Granada in 2017. Under Diego Martínez he became Granada's starter, won the Segunda División Zamora Trophy in 2018-19, and then played in La Liga and the Europa League. Betis signed him in 2021, and he was part of the squad that won the 2021-22 Copa del Rey. In 2025 he returned to Portugal with Sporting CP, later joining permanently. Silva made his senior Portugal debut in 2021.
