John Ruddy is an English goalkeeper born in St Ives in 1986. He began at Cambridge United, joined Everton, and became best known for his years at Norwich City, where he played in the Premier League and earned England recognition. Ruddy later joined Wolverhampton Wanderers, helping the club win the 2017-18 Championship, and also played for Birmingham City. He made his England senior debut in 2012 after being called into Roy Hodgson’s squad.
