David Jiménez Corredor was born on 14 March 2004 and joined Real Madrid's academy at nine, in 2013. After working his way through La Fábrica he was promoted to Real Madrid C ahead of the 2023–24 season, then advanced to Real Madrid Castilla, becoming a regular at the reserve level over 2024–25.
When Dani Carvajal's torn ACL and a wave of right-sided defensive injuries left Real Madrid short of options in late 2025, Jiménez emerged as the emergency right-back option and was integrated into senior training. On 17 December 2025 he made his competitive Real Madrid debut in a 3–2 Copa del Rey win over CF Talavera de la Reina — the first La Fábrica product to debut under Xabi Alonso. After two months on the senior fringes the club opted to send him back to Castilla in February 2026 to ensure regular minutes after talks involving Arbeloa and the captain Carvajal himself.
Jiménez is a right-footed right-back with energy, defensive aggression, and the technical control expected of a Real Madrid academy product. His current contract runs through June 2027, and the senior debut and integration during 2025–26 mark him as a candidate to step further into the first-team rotation as the club's right-back depth chart evolves.
