Endrick Felipe Moreira de Sousa was born on 21 July 2006 in Brasília, Brazil. He came through the youth ranks of Palmeiras and made his senior debut in October 2022 at just sixteen, immediately attracting attention from Europe's biggest clubs for his finishing instincts and direct running.
In December 2022, Real Madrid agreed to sign him for a fee that could rise to around €72 million, with the move formally completing in summer 2024 once he turned eighteen. While still at Palmeiras he won the 2022 and 2023 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A titles and finished as the league's top scorer in the second half of 2023.
His first season at Real Madrid in 2024-25 was a measured introduction under Carlo Ancelotti, with the teenager working into a forward line that already contained Vinícius Júnior, Rodrygo, Kylian Mbappé and Jude Bellingham. He scored on his Spanish debut and on his Champions League debut, but found minutes harder to come by as the season progressed. In January 2026 he joined Olympique Lyonnais on loan to accelerate his development.
For Brazil he debuted in March 2024 at the age of seventeen and scored on debut against England at Wembley, instantly becoming a symbol of the Seleção's next generation. He has remained a senior squad option through the 2024 Copa América and the 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign.
Standing 1.73 m, Endrick is a right-footed centre-forward whose acceleration, body strength relative to his size and ruthless finishing inside the box draw comparisons to a young Romário. He is the latest in the long line of Brazilian forwards groomed in Palmeiras' academy and sold to Madrid, and remains one of the most-watched teenage prospects in world football.
