Lorenz Assignon is a French right-back developed by Rennes. He made his senior breakthrough at Rennes after a loan to Bastia and played in Ligue 1 and European competition. A 2024 loan to Burnley gave him Premier League experience, and he later moved to VfB Stuttgart. Assignon is known as an attack-minded full-back and has represented France at youth levels.
