Fahad Talib is an Iraqi goalkeeper born in Baghdad in 1994. He came through Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya's youth setup and became the club's first-choice goalkeeper, winning domestic honours and three AFC Cups with the Baghdad side. He later had spells with Al-Zawraa, Sanat Naft Abadan in Iran and Al-Talaba. Talib was Iraq's starting goalkeeper at the 2016 AFC U-23 Championship, where Iraq finished third and qualified for the Rio Olympics. He made his senior Iraq debut in 2017 and was part of the 2023 Arabian Gulf Cup-winning squad.
