Aimar Sher is an Iraqi midfielder born in Kirkuk who moved to Sweden with his family at age four. He grew up in Stockholm and joined Hammarby IF's academy, later making senior appearances for Hammarby and a loan spell at IK Frej. Sher moved to Italy with Spezia, had a loan at Groningen, and then joined Sarpsborg 08 in Norway. He represented Sweden at under-17, under-19 and under-21 levels before switching to Iraq, making him part of the senior national-team pool from 2025.
