Bukayo Saka grew up in Ealing, west London, and came through Arsenal's Hale End Academy before breaking into the first team as a teenager. He made his senior debut for the club in 2018 and quickly established himself as one of the most consistent wide attackers in the Premier League, earning recognition for his work rate, direct dribbling, and composure in front of goal.
Saka has been central to Arsenal's resurgence under Mikel Arteta, helping the club finish as Premier League runners-up in three consecutive seasons from 2022–23 through 2024–25. On the international stage, he represented England at UEFA Euro 2020, where his penalty miss in the final shootout against Italy drew widespread public sympathy and only seemed to galvanise his development in the seasons that followed.
A right-sided forward capable of cutting inside onto his left foot, Saka offers creativity, pressing intensity, and a reliable goal contribution across a full season. During the 2024–25 campaign he was involved in Arsenal's memorable UEFA Champions League run, which included a 5–1 aggregate victory over Real Madrid in the quarter-finals before the club was eliminated by Paris Saint-Germain at the semi-final stage.
At Arsenal, Saka remains a key figure in Arteta's attacking setup, and the club has continued to build around him as they pursue a first league title since 2003–04. He is one of several homegrown players the club has committed to on long-term contracts as part of their broader rebuild.
