Miloš Kerkez was born on 7 November 2003 in Vrbas, Serbia, and began his development at Austrian club Rapid Wien before moving to Hungarian second-division side Győr in 2020. It was there that he was converted from a midfielder into a left-back, a switch that proved decisive. A phone call from AC Milan legend Paolo Maldini convinced him to join the Serie A club in February 2021, though he saw limited first-team action and moved on to Dutch side AZ in January 2022.
At AZ, Kerkez scored the winning goal against Sparta Rotterdam in August 2022, announcing himself in the Eredivisie. He then joined Bournemouth in July 2023, where he established himself firmly in the Premier League. Standout moments at Bournemouth included two assists in a 2–1 win over Manchester City in November 2024 and a goal against Newcastle United at St James' Park in January 2025. He was named in the PFA Team of the Year for the 2024–25 season.
In June 2025, Kerkez signed for Liverpool on a five-year deal for a reported £40 million, and scored his first goal for the club against Brentford in October 2025. He is regarded as a dynamic, attacking left-back with strong physical output, crossing ability, and an aggressive work rate.
On the international stage, Kerkez chose to represent Hungary despite being eligible for Serbia. He made his senior debut in September 2022, helping Hungary beat Germany 1–0, and went on to represent his country at UEFA Euro 2024. He has accumulated over 20 senior caps.
