Alessandro Buongiorno is an Italian centre-back born in Turin on 6 June 1999. He came through Torino's academy and gained early senior experience with Carpi and Trapani on loan. Back at Torino, he established himself in Serie A and eventually became club captain. Napoli signed him in 2024, adding him to their defensive group. Buongiorno represented Italy at youth levels and made his senior debut in 2023. He was included in Italy's UEFA Euro 2024 squad and has been used as a left-sided central defender.
