Daniel Olmo Carvajal is a Spanish attacking midfielder and left winger born in Terrassa on 7 May 1998. He spent time at Barcelona's La Masia but chose an unusual route by moving to Dinamo Zagreb as a teenager. In Croatia he became a first-team player, won several league and cup titles, and gained European experience. RB Leipzig signed him in 2020; there he won two DFB-Pokals and scored a hat-trick in the 2023 DFL-Supercup. In 2024 he returned to Barcelona. Olmo won the 2019 UEFA European Under-21 Championship, earned an Olympic silver medal in Tokyo, and helped Spain win UEFA Euro 2024, finishing as one of the tournament's leading scorers.
