Myles Lewis-Skelly was born on 26 September 2006 in Denmark Hill, London, and has been part of Arsenal's Hale End academy since the age of eight. He progressed steadily through the youth ranks alongside fellow academy product Ethan Nwaneri, earning particular attention during Arsenal's 2022–23 FA Youth Cup run, which included a decisive winning goal in the semi-final against Manchester City before the club reached the final. He signed his first professional contract with Arsenal in October 2023.
Lewis-Skelly made his senior debut in September 2024, coming on as a substitute in a 2–2 draw at Manchester City, and earned his first Premier League start in a 0–0 draw against Everton in December of the same year. One of his most noted moments came on 2 February 2025, when he scored his first Arsenal goal in a 5–1 win over Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium. He was also named to the EA Sports FC Premier League Team of the Season for 2024–25.
A versatile and technically assured operator, Lewis-Skelly functions primarily as a box-to-box midfielder but has been regularly deployed at left-back for both club and country. Arsenal have given him an increasingly prominent role, and he signed a new long-term contract with the club in June 2025.
On the international stage, Lewis-Skelly made his senior England debut in March 2025 during a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Albania, scoring in the 20th minute to become the youngest England player to score on a senior debut, surpassing the record previously held by Marcus Rashford.
