Marc Casadó Torras was born on 14 September 2003 in Sant Pere de Vilamajor, Catalonia. He joined Barcelona's La Masia at thirteen in 2016 and captained the academy's Juvenil A side to a domestic treble in 2020–21 (league and Copa de Campeones). He made his Barcelona Atlètic debut in August 2022 and his first competitive senior appearance for the main squad in the UEFA Champions League that November.
His full first-team breakthrough arrived in 2024–25: he became a regular fixture under Hansi Flick, scored his first Barcelona goal against Real Sociedad, and helped the club to its domestic treble of La Liga, Copa del Rey, and Supercopa de España. The performances earned him a senior Spain debut in November 2024, with caps against Denmark and Switzerland.
A 1.77 m holding midfielder who can also fill in across the backline, Casadó is defined by work rate, ball-progression passing, anticipation in defensive duels, and the kind of academy-honed technical security expected of a Barcelona No. 6 understudy. Now wearing the number 17 shirt, he is one of La Fábrica's most representative recent first-team integrations and continues to build a long-term role at the club.
