Christopher Nkunku was born on 14 November 1997 in Lagny-sur-Marne, France, and developed through the renowned Paris Saint-Germain academy before making his professional debut in December 2015. During his four years at PSG he made 78 appearances and collected three Ligue 1 titles, two Coupe de France medals, and two Coupe de la Ligue winners' medals.
His move to RB Leipzig in July 2019 for around €13 million proved to be the defining step in his career. Over four seasons he scored 70 goals in 172 appearances, won the DFB-Pokal twice, and was named Bundesliga Player of the Season for 2021–22 after contributing 20 goals and 13 assists in 34 league games. The following campaign he shared the Bundesliga's top-scorer award with 16 league goals.
Chelsea signed him in June 2023 for a reported £52 million on a six-year contract. His debut season was disrupted by a knee injury that required surgery, but he still managed notable contributions including a hat-trick against Barrow in the EFL Cup. He helped the club win the UEFA Conference League and the FIFA Club World Cup before joining AC Milan in August 2025 on a five-year deal worth €42 million.
A versatile, right-footed attacker capable of playing centrally or wide, Nkunku is recognised for his dribbling, pace, and ability to create space in one-on-one situations. He made his senior France debut in March 2022 and has since earned 14 international caps, scoring his first senior goal in October 2024. Milan will be looking to him as a key attacking option as he settles into Serie A.
